When I first came home from the war. Well after 18 months in a medical unit going through surgeries and therapies and shrinks... It took years to be rated 170% disabled by the Veterans. And my Social Security disability claim was denied. While Veterans lose everything, the government plays games. The VA and SSDI... Then you sell everything you have. Then the Veteran ends up leaving his family so they can both survive. Many times the Veteran will kill themselves as they now have nothing left. I am hardwired to live so I just kept plugging along. I have good friends and good dogs. I found a SSDI lawyer and had him take my case. As soon as they seen I had a lawyer the claim was approved. Where he takes 1/3 of the money. Now eight years later the Social Security office is playing games again... I guess the lawyers need somemore money. If the way our government and VA treated its people were public sector, theyd be sued out of existence in a week!! It takes, literally an Act of Congress to get a single shitty VA employee fired as we eat our own bullets. A feverish rant...
