When I first heard about it, I thought it was a great idea to raise awareness of Lou Gerhigs disease, and I know everyone wants to do their part to help those with this horrible disease! But upon doing a bit more research about the ice bucket challenge, and where that money is actually going, lets just say I was shocked!! The money actually goes to grow fetuses specifically for the sole purpose of killing them to extract embryonic stem cells from their spines! I do support good people trying to do something to help others less fortunate, but I cannot support where that money goes and the manner of which they are obtaining these stem cells! erlc/article/the-faqs-the-als-ice-bucket-challenge
