When I get a 2,900$ paycheck knocked down to 1,900$ because of taxes, it disgusts me. Idc to pay social security, medicare and medicaid, etc. But, when Im paying for ppl to make 20,000$ a year in food stamp/welfare/WIC benefits because theyre too prideful or lazy to work, it down right pisses me off. I was on food stamps at 1 point and I still worked to provide when I could and was struggling through school. I wasnt too good to work at minimum wage jobs. I felt so pathetic getting food stamps I eventually cancelled them after about 6 months because I felt like I DIDNT EVEN DESERVE THEM. If we as America dont get our pride back in working hard and earning things, this country is gonna be worse off than Uganda or some 3rd world country in the next 50 years.
