When I got this sweet little girl from the pound, just over 5 months ago, I knew that I would have to make a tough decision in the near future. She would have been put down the next day and no rescue organizations would take her because she had lots of tumors. So, I had her spayed and she lived happily, knowing that she was loved since then. I knew that I did not want her to suffer and that I would do everything that I could to help her. Over the past couple of days she was starting to suffer with severe shortness of breath and a pounding heartbeat as well as other issues. Today I had to make that tough decision and the sweetest, most trusting dog ever went over the Rainbow Bridge. Even when the vet put the needle in her leg, she wagged her tail. :( Here are some pictures of her from today. Rest in Peace, Buttons! We love you sweet girl!
