When I grew up, our culture was to honor, respect and obey older folks. Our grandparents and elderly in the community were revered as they are and have been in most cultures. That is not necessarily true today. The loss of our fundamental traditions and heritage is occurring every passing day. Soon they may be gone altogether... like losing a species, a language or culture. Chicks on the Right sent out a link to this story/video and it just brought tears to my eyes.
