When I grew up, there always seemed to be a place where my Mom would put laundered socks that had a hole in the toe. She would later sit and darn (that is sew for you young ones! LOL) the socks, so we could get more wear out of them. I can remember that even though it felt better not having a toe stick out of the hole, the place where she had sewed would irritate me. It felt like there was a bump where a bump should not be. There are times in life like this too where everything seems good but then a hole begins to form. No matter what we do, the problems, the upset, the depression is there and the hole gets bigger leaving us in a place that requires mending. If left unattended to, that hole can cause ruin. So, if that is where you are today, try some darning with God, family and/or friends. It may still leave some irritation, but I hear that irritation is what makes a pearl. God Bless your day! MUAH! HUGS!
