When I imagined sending my kids off to school, I also imagined - TopicsExpress

When I imagined sending my kids off to school, I also imagined them coming home in the afternoon and telling me all about the fun that they had and the things that theyve learned. I dont know how it works in your house, but here all Im getting is Me:how was school? (Insert child): good But. (I know thats not a real sentence but I take a lot of creative liberties here) Friday afternoon while Noah and I were walking up the path from school and I asked him that question, he gave me some interesting insights. He told me that HE made good decisions, not bad decisions (his words). He said that another little boy made bad decisions (not important) and he told me in a ramble that someone pushed him and that ms.D said you cant push Noah!....and I wanted to believe him, but it was very likely that it was some modified script that I wasnt familiar with. So I held onto that information and as I dropped him off this morning, I ask ms.D if those things happened, and she smiled and said yep. It only took him 5 years of school for him to give me an answer, but he did it!
