When I joined the Army back in the middle 80s, Russia, then the USSR, was still a super power. All branches of our military trained almost exclusively to destroy this enemy. In the Army we trained to fight them with tanks in the woods. Through President Reagans strong LEADERSHIP the USSR eventually dissolved. Well, it looks like our old enemy is back and gaining momentum. At the same time our leaders are weakening our military and have no coherent foreign policy, other than wagging a finger and saying tisk tisk - shame on you comrade. Well - Fire up the tanks fellows - it looks like the cold war might be back and we are already falling behind.
