When I look at this image; recorded by the Police themselves, I ponder two thoughts. First, little bitty men in uniform with big guns, are compensating for some deficit they perceive in their selves. Such men are prone to compensate with the use of excessive, exaggerated force. Secondly, the obvious; would the other little prick, who actually fired the shots have had the same sense of license to endanger a car full of children if they and their mother were white? The second, is a rhetorical question. It is OBVIOUS that the answer is no. Despite the ROUTINE mistreatment of poor white people by our nations policemen, actually shooting at them with a car full of their children is so rare as to be almost non-existent. This incident is different from so many others, only because there was a video camera. There was a video camera at the scene, which the officers could not turn off or otherwise prevent its capture of the incident, because OF PRIOR ILLEGAL ACTIONS BY POLICE WHICH THEY DESTROYED THE EVIDENCE OF. I guess that the settlement which led to this practice was based in actual fact. Despite the protest of those (some well meaning) White people who have already dismissed my statement, because they are tired of all the black people constantly complaining about things which dont even happen anymore. Something to think about.
