When I look into the future, I see with eyes that are weak and all too tempted to see what I want to see. I see through tears and fear. I see very little beyond the grasp of my hands. But, there is one who sees clearly. Not just tomorrow or next week or next year, but He sees beyond eternity to a time when my current struggles will shrink to nothing. He not only sees, but He works on my behalf for a future worthy of His own child. Though I want to fast forward through the waiting, He wants me to be still and experience His glorious plan unfold around me. He wants me to not only your be still but to also be ready.
