When I posted asking for help, I had second thoughts of whether I should, as at the back of my head I was thinking Masbates Tourism will be affected. Yes when it happened, my fear for what would transpire next for Masbate was in my mind. But it was the closest thing to ask for help & true enough, police officers came as a lot of you got concerned & did something. And for this time (yes this time, coz the threat continues), you helped save our lives. Thank you. God bless you all. Our truest friends, you know who you are thank you. Now heres what happened: 1. Came from the Governors Night Celebration at the Provincial Capitol Grounds; 2. Proceeded to our drivers birthday celebration; 3. When we arrived there several guys were drinking outside the house of our driver; 4. We went inside the house and ate; 5. While inside, one of the guys outside, who according to our driver came uninvited, said that he wants to go inside the house to talk to Vince; 6. He was prevailed upon as he was somehow drunk & was told that he should not bother us as we were eating; 7. Right there and then he fired a shot (direction of which I do not know); 8. People in and outside the house panicked & prevented him from getting even closer to us, now all the more he fired more shots; 9. We hid ourselves; (My knees trembled, now this was the time I prayed & asked God what to do) As I have the Bible app in my phone, I decided to supposedly open it, but was prompted to just post instead the fb status so urgent help would come in. Also texted several family & friends to help us; 10. Kept praying. Apparently the guy ran away to hide. Learned that he has several cases too in which warrants for his arrest are applied for by the Police but until now no warrant is being issued; 11. Police came & concerned people came. My phone got battery empty so not able to update you anymore that we are already safe; Masbate, Masbatenyos, I am so sad that this happened. I cried thinking that Masbates Tourism Industry can get affected. We are working so hard to help this Industry & now my post... :(((( Anyway, be it known that this is not some random happening in our Province. I honestly think that this has been premeditated & most likely politically motivated: 1. The guy prior to us arriving there at our drivers house has been asking whether we would be going there ( it seems he has a premeditated plan); 2. He was not invited but was there; 3. 2 weeks ago we had several info that there are death threats on us; 4. Been quite bullied (details of which my family & closest of friends know & if anything happens to us, they probably would know whos behind all these or whos going to use those bullying by others to their favor & be the ones instead to plan harming us) (this time on, Im not going to be silent everytime Im bullied, Im going to speak up. Bullies probably think they can do away with it as we still remained civil & friendly despite of what theyre doing; 5. You probably noticed my posts these past few days (yes been struggling a lot, there are so much going on (i dont want to elaborate anymore for now, but bottomline politics, anyway we just lift it all up to God, we declare even right now that no weapon can be formed against Gods people. We have his army of angels protecting us); Oh Lord Jesus Christ, we cry out to you for help. Please Lord let there be safety & security upon us. Lifting it all up to You.
