When I read my friend Karina Heneghans beautiful article about why she went to India and what happened to her there, tears of empathy streamed down my face. Her stunning photographs and descriptions of joy in the midst of chaos and the transformation they sparked in her make up our new BPJ photo essay: Last year, I took a two-month solo trip to India. There were many reasons for taking this journey, but the most important one of all was the one dictated by my higher self.
