When I saw this I immediately thought of 2 people. My Grandfather who was a life long Coal Miner who died when I was 4 years old. The other is my Father in law, who worked in the coal industry for almost 40 years. It really hurts to see what a horrible disease Black Lung can do to someone. Ive seen my Father in law become a shell of a man over the past 23 years because of his work in the coal industry, and it is a shame. Elden Newport is still one of the strongest men i know, and i love him very much. Mining coal is a thank less job, that will without a doubt take its toll on your health in the long run. Lets give a big thank you to them because coal is the lifeblood of many power plants across this great nation.
