When I signed the petition to release Sgt. Tahmooressi from the - TopicsExpress

When I signed the petition to release Sgt. Tahmooressi from the Mexican prison, I received a Thank You from his mother, Jill. She requested that I circulate the petition with my friends. She does not use the word tortured in describing his treatment, but I want to emphasize it. For all who have raised such a protest against waterboarding by our military in protecting us, I ask, What do you call it, when a Mexican prison guard, after chaining Sgt. Tahmooreesi to a bed, with arms crossed and naked, beat him in the face so much that he describes it as it felt like my jaw was going to drop off (his words). He was chained to that bed for a month. How about some righteous indignation and outrage against that. Our president and secretary of the state should be on the phone today, with the Mexican government, demanding that Sgt. Tahmooressi be released within 24 hours, or we should close the border, within 48 hours and insist that those prison guards be charged with criminal activity. Jill Tahmooressi, thank you for campaigning for the release of your son, and my brother in the Christian faith. I join with you. Billy Falling, Pastor and Headmaster, The Internet Church, International P.O. Box 440, Chula Vista, CA 91912. p.s. He contacted me yesterday and thanked me for helping him. NO MORE TORTURE; NO MORE TORTURE; NO MORE TORTURE.
