When I think about tradtional roles of men (after women liberation), men were the sole provider, therefore women relied on their husbands 100%. Guess what these women were? Submissive. They couldnt dictate anything to their men. The men made all decisions as to how his money would be spent. Oh, and the wives really had no choice but to obey their husbands. Seriously, could you imagine a man working all day while his wife stayed at home and him coming home to his wife telling him what to do and him obeying her? What I do envision, though, was the wife using wisdom to persuade her husband into considering her views. And assuming that he is a reasonable man, he would consider her views. No wonder why so many of todays woman work so hard to be independent. If they had to rely on a man 100%, they would HAVE to submit to him. And guess what? All of that talk about, If he is a good man, I wont have a problem submitting, would be foolish talk. Bottom line. Many women rebel against submission because they would rather over work or struggle before listening and obeying any man.
