When I tripped and fell and broke my right arm, I felt excruciating pain. A lot of what ifs rushed to my mind, like what if I walked on ascension s main road with Kim, my brother and nephews or what if I just stayed back with friend -colleagues at the faculty room, or what if Kim and I had our usual walk at the capitol grounds. Will I not be hurt? I do not know. Only God knows what will happen. Thinking back, maybe it is Gods reminder to me that I need to slow down a little bit because prior to the accident I thought I was superwoman and I barely need help. Also, it is Gods reminder to me to take a longer look at what my life is. That I need to be more prayerful and I need to talk to Him more. A painful realization but it is worth it, I have learned to appreciate life, friends, relatives, Kim, and my relationship with God all the more.
