When I turned to Jesus in faith I trusted him and him alone to be my savior . I turned (repented) from my works and my own selfrightouse religion and he saved me..his work on the cross is all the work that was needed! I believed and I was saved by grace through faith. His spirit now guides me and leads me but Im still human and have struggles with the flesh just like every born again believer in history has. (even the ones that are holier than thou and say they dont have struggles) :).. Anyways, my good deeds and my self righteous works, and my trying to obey the word to the best of my understanding will never add to my salvation or take away from it..my salvation is settled once and for all, my sin debt has been fully paid. The things I do for The Lord (are very little) but what I do is not so I can earn my way to heaven but because he saved me I wanna do everything I can for him, (I fall very short) I know I can never repay him for saving me but he is worthy of my praise tonight , and I give him the glory ! Without him id be nothing, without him Id be lost in sin! Plain and simple ! Sorry for long windedness I just wanted to share whats on my heart and mind tonight!
