When I was 16 years old I made my way through NYC, down to Greenwich Village, through the doors of Bleecker Street Records, and down the narrow staircase where I was told all of the quality bootleg collections of Bruce & The E Street Band were hidden.(My apologies to the entire E Street Band - Ive spent over $1000 on tickets to your shows the for past 16 years of my life, so does that cover royalties?). Anyway, I climbed back out onto Bleecker St, clutching three must have live recordings Philadelphia 2/5/75, Passaic, NJ 9/19/78 and San Francisco 12/15/78. Upon reading that these rare gems may actually be released from the Official Master Recordings, and not from some dude from Jersey trying to hide his recording device unders his Mets or Phillies cap, well I too believe in The Promise Land.
