When I was 18 and in between, movie, acting, taking off my clothes - TopicsExpress

When I was 18 and in between, movie, acting, taking off my clothes for magazines, and stripping? I worked at Magic Mountain as a Ghoul. Its a short term position and in my case it was so short term I have seldom thought of it as a job. But the other day, I noticed Fright Fest Action Ghouls now pay $10.50 per hour with paid training and rehearsals. I remember first I had to audition which took all day and involved climbing and being able to have stunt rigging and be able to walk around in 20 pounds of costume weight, endure hours of sitting in a make up chair and be able to work in crowds, heat, cold, tight and dark surroundings. I say this laughing as I am writing my resume and it has dawned on me I have zero qualifications for any real world work. In fact, my closest ability to anything real world is what I wrote under the Heading of Abilities: Startling and entertaining park guests with great enthusiasm and high animation. Extensive training working with action equipment such as bungee jumping, stunt harnesses, counterweight fall systems, and similiar action equipment. I take being thrown out of buildings well... I am staring at this last sentence and thinking how this is going to go over with any potential person interested in hiring me. My other choices in the Ability Department? Ability to make a Red Bikini look good. Run fast from oncoming Zombies... sell out magazines from behind liquor cabinets and with Brains in Tact. Jewel Shepard
