When I was 19 and still with my ex-husband, his safety bar was not secured. We asked the attendant to check it and he said it was fine, then he started the ride. At the first turn, his bar came open and he had to hold himself in his seat. It was on the American Eagle at Six Flags Great America near Chicago. I was holding onto him and both of us trying to hold him in his seat. When we got off, the attendant still did not seem concerned.
