When I was a kid my father taught me how to hunt. It was always something that we got to enjoy together. Now I am able to share my love of hunting with my sons. I sat with my son in a hunting blind last week for the first time. Brought back memories watching him sitting there holding that rifle looking for a deer to enter the field. Hunting is my peace time, and I spend a lot of it admiring the beauty that God has provided. I have had many conversations with The Lord while sitting in a tree stand. I have prayed for him to send deer my way but many times it was just time to thank God for all that he gives me. Now that I have started a new tradition with my sons I want to pass down the new tradition of praying before each hunt, talking with God during the hunt, and thanking God for each kill. As much time as I hope that I have left hunting and as much time as I hope my sons have left hunting, I expect to continue building a strong relationship with The Lord, for me and for them. But no matter what activity you enjoy, as long as it is not sinful, there is always a way to bring God into it. Isnt that what life is suppose to be about, finding ways everyday to bring God into it, then finding someone to share God with. Worship is not just a church thing, its everything. Goodnight and God Bless
