When I was a kid, we had aspirations to work hard in school and become anything we wanted. It was every kids dream to be rich whether it came from being a doctor, lawyer, movie star, rock star, or professional athlete. No one ever purposefully dreamed to be poor or even middle class. We would aim for the stars. Because we did that, a lot of us achieved success in things. We have nice cars, nice homes, and are able to survive without someone else paying our bills. We were taught You dont work, You dont eat. So it goes against everything I believe to have to teach my kids different. With the new laws that tax people who make over a certain amt or have more than 3 kids, and raise your healthcare costs based on how large your family is, our country is stifling any ambition to try. Weve allowed the Govt to tell us we cant pray in schools. Weve allowed the Govt to influence a parents feeling of security when it comes to spanking their kids, therefore they dont. (Dont get me started on that) Weve allowed the Govt to say what size fries my kid can have at mcDonalds. Weve allowed the Govt to sign a bill without reading whats in it. Therefore you being perfectly healthy will now pay for the person who is very sick and has to visit the doctor routinely. Plus you pay for the person who cant afford it. And if you cant afford it, dont worry we will put it on the rich who need to be punished for making something of themselves and dont need the govt help. The govt is trying to make us need them. What are we teaching our kids here? Manipulation... Laziness... Dishonesty... Dont dream because it will cost you more!!!!! I will be taxed more & charged more because I have 3 kids and we work hard to make money to pay our bills. There have been days my family have eaten ramen noodles because we were holding out for the next check. However I didnt cry for Govt Help. It just took us working harder. So yes! I have a problem with being charged more for working hard and desiring to make more income. So how do we raise a generation of people who want to try and make something of themselves when they could just live off the Govt? Why would they want to work so hard when their neighbor gets the same advantages as they do because they pay for their neighbor to? Its not rocket science. Its not just the doctors, dentists, lawyers, engineers, & business owners who will pay more because the made more. Its the famous celebrities and professional athletes. So if you think your talent will make you money one day, make sure its a good enough talent to last you and allow you to pay for all the little people back home. Once upon a time, you had a right to create a charity out of the goodness of your heart to help people in need. Now the govt becomes Robinhood. Your right to give is now a law to give. Next time you go to Wendys or McDonalds, look at the person in front and the person in back, then pay half their bill for them........ What? Does that sound crazy? Its fun and enjoyable when you get to choose to out of the desire to bless someone. However when youre made to, theres no enjoyment in that.
