When I was coming up the village stepped in and yes, reprimanded where necessary then I got my butt whipped (ah, not time out). My mother, father, family, neighbors, teachers, pastor and anyone else my mother gave permission to reprimanded me by any means possible. It was not called abuse because it wasnt; it was showing I am whipping you cause I love you & dont want you to end up in jail, dead or in the streets. I didnt totally understand until I was 16. Had graduated from high school where some of my female friends didnt because they got pregnant. Yes, it starts at home (environment, exposure and experience) but ultimately branches out. We us all of us have to stop being scared to stand up to the young men/women who are lost & show them another better way. Together everyone achieves more (T.E.A.M.). Im a lion
