When I was fifteen years old (Yuck! As if almost-21 is old. :p) , when somebody asked me what I wanted to be, I told them I wanted to be a doctor. Funny how things changed as life happened. Ive always said that there were only a few things in my life that I was able to decide on, and studying Consular and Diplomatic Affairs was one of my biggest decision ever. I have no regrets, not just because Im a graduate now, but because I met amazing people and Ive learned so many wonderful things. Ive always been competitive, thats a trait I dont plan on changing any time soon. :D But to sum all my realizations up, its that grades dont define all that you are as an individual. :) Its how you deal with people, how you nurture your relationships with them, how you apply the knowledge and wisdom that youve learned, and how you turn your small failures into GREAT SUCCESS. Thank you to everyone who has been part of my three-year journey in CDA, whether they be Ambassadors, professors, colleagues, classmates, enemies :p, FRIENDS AND FAMILY (especially my Mom - Evelyn Tamse), and lastly and most importantly, GOD, I wouldnt be standing tall (figuratively, of course. Hahaha.), strong and proud if it werent for all of you. THANK YOU. 4 points from Fr. Robin Custodio (as taken from the words of William Arthur Ward): “The adventure of life is to learn. The purpose of life is to grow. The nature of life is to change. The challenge of life is to overcome. The other night, I was going to bed as Arvelyn Claire Teves Tamse, student. Tonight, Im Arvelyn Claire Teves Tamse, GRADUATE OF AB- CONSULAR AND DIPLOMATIC AFFAIRS. To God be the Utmost Glory. :)
