When I was in 7th grade I was granted permission to recite this limerick- A wonderful bird is a pelican. His mouth can hold more than his bellican. In his beak he can hold enough food for a week, but I damned if I see how the hellican. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dixon_Lanier_Merritt Today, I feel this poem is important. Credits go to my grandfather Pappy Johnson for teaching me. I am genuinely an apple from his tree. I think you, my Facebook readers, should also know that a limerick is written in anapestic meter. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limerick_(poetry) Not to be confused with iambic pentameter. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iambic_pentameter There consider yourself blessed by the ramblings of a nerd.
