When I was taught Tarot by Erlinda, a Native American medicine - TopicsExpress

When I was taught Tarot by Erlinda, a Native American medicine woman in Taos, New Mexico in the late 70s, she explained how the cards were just tools and once you knew them, you could see Tarot-like signs everywhere – you could read the world around you and predict the way things would go. I just saw twelve white doves on a roof. Im used to seeing pigeons in numbers but not doves. So I took it as something significant. Twelve represents a full cycle: the twelve months, the twelve signs of the zodiac, the twelve acupuncture energy meridians, the twelve animals fighting forms of xing yi, the twelve crystal skulls, and so on, and doves represent peace, abundance and everything working out fine. There are times you read the signs and the focus is on you and your personal situation, and there are times you read them and instinctually know youre seeing a picture for everyone. This one was definitely a for-everyone sign. So I suggest, despite all appearances to the contrary (say, if you dare read the news with regards to global geopolitical scenario and likely developments now the current powers that be have capitulated to Irans nuclear program, the wibbly-wobbly state of global economic affairs, the increasingly encroaching governmental surveillance, or the potentially growing disruption from climate mayhem, for instance), that our collective fairy godmother is taking the story somewhere beautiful rather than ugly. And that if we collectively relax and trust things to work out now, they probably will – and far more wonderfully than wed have imagined. And the same goes for each of us individually. If we each relax more and be more willing to trust our fairy godmothers, to trust the plot development in our story-lines, the chances are that well each find ourselves rolling in clover in the twinkling of an eye. A surge of positivity individually and collectively now is probably just what the doctor ordered. Those doves make me think this might well be a turning point for the good. This is such a magnificent world, and itll be beautiful if we can all learn to love it and enjoy it more now. Its easy getting caught in the negative mode, predicting gloomy outlooks – and theres always an abundance of signs to support that – in fact it can be fun indulging it sometimes, in a twisted sort of way, like watching a horror movie – but I do get the strongest sense today is some sort of portal through which we may step into the positive mode again, a turning point after which the story might now get a lot sweeter for everyone. If Id have claimed to have channeled that from some spirit or alien or whatever Im sure people would listen more as we do tend to love fairground bullshit, but I hope this sentiment carries nonetheless and inspires you to spread it far and wide – and as a result we collectively trigger a benign shift of epic proportions today. May it be so. Spicy Sunday. CHI!
