When I worked fire rescue, ER and ambulance, I saw the results of this at least several hundreds of times. The people restrained in the vehicles were ALWAYS much less injured than those ejected. This is a good example of the centrifugal force of a rolling vehicle throwing out anything loose (including people.) My brother once saw this in person as a car rolled through our front yard and an occupant was thrown much like the person in the video.
