When Israels largest military aid donor, the USA is the only country that abstained from voting for a UN backed Peace Deal, yet the USA is the same country who is on the cover of all papers, headlining news bulletins and online calling for a halt to violence? Its hard to comprehend. If they were so supportive of peace, the USA would cut military aid immediately and condemn Israel for the blatant destruction of Palestine. The Jews need to remember the reason the State of Israel was founded was because they as a race were persecuted. In 2003 Australia was led to an invasion of Iraq by lies from Alexander Downer that that country had breached UN regulations. Israel has been in breach of UN regulations for over 4 decades but no western countries rush to invade like they did 11 years prior to Iraq. When people, like the Palestinians are Oppressed by another. When they have their land stolen, when they cannot leave more than 3 Kms off their own coastline, and when they have a wall built around them, what option do they have? Whilst all countries remain mute on this war, and especially Muslim nations, this oppression will continue. The people who lose out are the innocent on both sides. And we also lose out because we sit back and do nothing.
