When Ive slept over the last two nights (Friday and Saturday), Ive been blessed with some incredible, vivid dreams that have been so realistic I know Ill remember them forever. One of them has visited me twice.. Im on stage at an outdoor festival, its dark and loud. My band is perfect! On the drums is John Bonham from Led Zeppelin, playing the most fantastic, solid groove. On the bass is Robert DeLeo from Stone Temple Pilots with his wonderful deep tone, precise technique and jazzy licks. My guitar tone is a thick, fuzzy Hendrix type sound. Were playing a funky rock tune kinda like Foxy Lady but a little quicker and with some strange, mystical chords in. Over the top of it all, my favourite singer in the world, Chris Cornell, is stood next to me... Our chemistry is amazing and were vibing off each other as we blast the song out. His voice really is the sound of the Gods.. So rich and powerful, but with dynamics and a sensitivity that is lost in most men. I think Ive had this dream because both nights Ive watched this just before I sleep. Its Chris Cornell singing one of my all time favourite songs. Sweet Euphoria. Only captured on someones phone last year, but with headphones on you might be able to appreciate why I want to be in a band with him. Hope you get the chance to watch this through.
