When Jesus was fasting in the wilderness Satan temped Him with an earthy thing but Jesus was seeking the spiritual. He said, Man cannot live by bread alone. Jesus also told us to seek spiritual food daily when He said, Father, give us today our daily bread. We should understand just like we need physical food for our bodies we also need spiritual food just as much for our spirits. In both cases if we are not nourished we become weak and our adversary is looking to exploit any weakness we have. Knowing this we should spend some time with God daily. 4 It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” Matt 4
