When John first moved to Colorado he had this friend who would invite him over to his familys apt. to visit and have dinner. The friend had a little two year old girl. I guess John and the little girl had a mutual admiration going on. She called him Unk John. Anyway John and the guy deployed and were gone for a year. When they got back they were both single so they decided to get an apt. together. I didnt think there was any way that this little girl, who was only two and had known John for about 6 months a year ago would ever remember him. The minute she saw him she started running to him yelling Unk John, Unk John! He was just beaming. She wouldnt let him put her down the whole time. He just carried her around. Later when she was visiting her Dad from California, John would want to play XBox so he would sit her down with his guitar from Guitar Hero and she would be happy just sitting there. He called her Sha Na Na. She knew exactly who he was talking to.
