When Mama doesnt heed her own advice and go before we leave, you can bet Fate is paying attention. I had to stop in the public restroom this morning and immediately regretted two distinct choices Id made earlier. 1)The second up of coffee and 2) thinking I could hold it because it was only going to be a quick trip. Apparently those two poor choices were enough to warrant having all other choices removed today and I was left with Public Restroom privileges as my punishment. I wont go into detail, but just touching the sink made me want to obsessively wash my hands and as I scrubbed like a surgeon, I thanked God for the automatic paper towel dispenser. I dried my hands, thoroughly, and tossed the towels into the trash, careful not to touch the trashcan (because OH MY GOD!) and heard an odd little metallic clink in the can. NOOOOO!!! I somehow managed to slip my ring off and got it caught up in the paper towels. If I get Ebola, its because I reached into that nasty trash can to fetch my ring out. It was the single most disgusting thing Ive done since my children were toddlers and there is no water hot enough to make me feel clean now. Please pray for me.
