When Noah spent the night Friday he didnt warn Grandma a flood was coming. According to the tv the storm stalled over VR last night, and we awoke to a flooded living room and kitchen this morning. Alex soaked up water with the carpet shampooer from before daylight until 7:30 pm. About 13 hours straight. I am so grateful to him for working so hard to take care of his Grandmother and me. A lot of young men would have walked away and left the mess, but he hasnt complained or lost his sense of humor, and after more than 70 cannisters of water later hes calling it a night. We are blessed to have family who sticks together when into each life some rain may fall. Thanks, Alex. I love you. Damn fine man.
