When Rajawadi Mumbai Public School building went under repair to provide better infrastructure to the students and teachers, the school was temporarily shifted to the MCGM N ward office in located in Ghatkopar East. Growing enrollment figures, sharing classrooms with the ward office and a junior college meant the space was inadequate to house all the children. Ms. Vaishali Wavekar - MCGM Beat Officer of zone 6 - responded to the situation immediately and arranged for two new classrooms to accommodate all the students. She visits the school every single day and guides the MPS the teachers on academic as well as administrative fronts. Ms. Wavekar firmly believes that Children are the core of our education system. They should never be inconvenienced. It is our duty to provide them with a safe and secure learning environment. A big shoutout to Wavekar mam for her dedication and commitment towards her work. We certainly need more officials like her in the government education sector.
