In his second year, he decimated higher education by $300 million. Rick Scott cut Bright Futures lottery-funded scholarships by 20 percent, making college less affordable for more than 150,000 students. Rick Scotts emails have been deleted, violating Floridas sunshine laws. And in November 2013, he was even sued for failing to produce public records. Rick Scott allowed a corporate campaign contributor to collect $52 million from Citizens Property Insurance after a $110,000 donation to his campaign. When Rick Scott campaigned for Governor in 2010, he promised to create 700,000 jobs on top of normal growth, for a total of 1.7 million new jobs. But Scott has repeatedly moved the goal posts, misleading Floridians about his campaigns central promise.
