When Sara Grace Robison had been in my womb for 8 months, I took my mother to this concert, the concert at the inception for the new Moran Theater. As Ode to Joy, written when Ludwigs hearing was no more, began, this little person jumped and spun inside of me. And I knew I would miss our time linked together profoundly as she entered her own experience of life in all its beauty as well as pain. I also knew that if this could endure and be loved as much as it has, that humans would always choose beauty and love.
