When SarahAnn was a baby we brought her for a test at Dallas Presbyterian Hospital. The nurse comes out and calls out Sarah, so SueAnn and I stand up and start walking toward her. At the same time another couple with a baby stand up and start walking toward her. So the nurse then says, Sarah Land. Both me and the other father simultaneously nod and say ya and step toward the nurse and then immediately stop and look at each other. The nurse looks at us and says, ok, fathers name is Chris. Me and the other father repeat the nod/ya/step forward and then immediately stop again and look at each other. The nurse who now appears to be panicking looks frantically at her paperwork and says mothers name is Mary. I then throw my hand up in the air and smile and say, well thats not us I guess. The other fellow smiles and kind of waves and he and his wife head off with the visibly relieved nurse for their tests. We both had a good chuckle over that one. I had never before met someone with the same name (first and last) as myself, but to add to it, he gave his daughter almost the same name as my daughter and the two kids are both almost the same age. I still like telling that story.
