When Tom Branigan started our One Year Creative Photography back in September he came with little experience of the technical side of photography. As he was working on his end-of-term project he knew a key element was missing, but he could not put his finger on it. Then, with days to go before final presentation, he learned how to put captions on the photos he wanted to use in the slide show. Bingo! Of his project, titled Collins Barracks he simply says: It attempts to portray the barracks not in its significant role in history, but as the place where I lived and grew up in pre-teenage years.
