When Will I See You Again by The Three Degrees topped the UK chart for the first of a two week stay in August of 1974. It was a song that the Philadelphia trio were reluctant to record, but changed their minds after it became a huge international hit, selling millions of copies. The song was written and produced by the brilliant team of Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff. It was one of the most successful recordings of the Philly Soul era.
