When a Mallika Sherawat or Bipasha Basu dances on a New Year’s night, before thousands of people – entertaining drunken men and women who devour their dancing – there are pelvic thrusts even there; how come there is no stigma attached to that? Is it because a seat there costs 5,000? And here, we have a dark, dingy bar with women in different attires, entertaining autorickshaw-wallahs and workers, and you call it obscene and label it a den of vice and prostitution. But what makes them think that prostitution does not happen in five-star hotels?.....Mahesh Bhatt.
