When a child is interested in something its your chance to teach a lesson. Might seem stupid to a lot of you who are not teachers but the best lessons are taught from the smallest things. Yesterday we were picking seeds out of sunflowers that we had grown. We had cut them down and let them dry then we were picking the seeds out. The parent comes and the child wants to take the sunflower with him. He was told it was nasty and dirty and I find in thrown in the yard smh . So sad. This child is being held back from learning in so many ways. options please am I wrong to be upset at such a small thing?
