When a horse is “sticky” in sensory transitions or “lead - TopicsExpress

When a horse is “sticky” in sensory transitions or “lead changes” it’s like a rubber band stretching as stimulus is handed off from one sense to another... the tighter a horse is between two senses the longer it takes to transition; the longer it takes to transition the less pressure is absorbed and the more reaction will erupt in the body to release the unabsorbed pressure resulting in a butterfly affect of wasted energy and physical motion. Testing horses sensory lead changes begins to ID holes in the matrix that we need to be aware of. When we know the holes we can address them as best we can, and work within and around them. #HerdDynamics #THTBloodstock
