When a public officer is involved in corruption worth 5 billion naira, and gets bail worth 500 million, is it not clear that the court have only collected some of the profits of the 5 billion sharply stolen and invested? What strong signal have you shown to other officers to discourage corruption and its huge economic implication on the populace without any jail term to chasten and reform him/her of his corrupt ways?
