When a situation that is not in harmony with our inner belief - TopicsExpress

When a situation that is not in harmony with our inner belief system [being asked to do something such as fight a war or something you believe to be wrong] we can either change the outer structure of that reality by leaving that situation [a job, military, etc...] or we can change or recreate our inner belief, by shifting our perspective on that reality and compromise our core value. Every day whether living as a warrior or as an everyday citizen we are faced with choices. Are we trustworthy, do we live with honor, integrity, and selflessness, or do we cheat, lie, and take shortcuts? Do we justify, become self serving and ignore our internal core values? Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods [Navy Seals] had to make choices in Benghazi and chose to ignore an order to stand down for something they believed was a higher good, which matched their internal core values, sacrificing their own lives to SAVE the lives of others. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. In a world full of characters, they were men of CHARACTER!
