When all is said and done. When all the crying, shouting and pain is over, the core of who we really are, will determine what our outcome will be and what the future holds for us. You see its like a fast flowing river, angry, tempestuous, raging, wide, fast and foaming. Whooshing, pushing, gushing over rocks attacking every thing in sight. The power of the river is strong and fast, cascading down. There may be many obstacles on the way an occaisonal whirlpool, it can be breathtaking or treacherous we may be flung out like a sad bedraggled rag doll only to wind our way back inexorably along its course. Nothing can stop the flow until at last we reach our journeys end where the water from the river drops rapidly in elevation as it flows over the edge of a cliff. Its an unrelenting process culminating in the calm of the plunge pool below, there is a surreal peace. There is beauty and peace around you. You have survived the trials and tribulations, all the dangers and hardships the river threw at you. You can look back and wonder in total bewilderment. The river had appeared frought with danger and adversity, but now you have come out of it stronger, more resilliant, able to tackle anything that life can throw at you.You will be better off for the experience (Note to myself) Monday Motivation.....
