When an individual works hard and stays focused on a task, the conventional yardsticks tend to fall away. Doesn’t matter how old you are, how big you are, how gifted you are, how smart you are. Some things you just gotta work at and put your time in. Eventually a student sees the fruits of their labor – in this case, we had students from the Academy of Kung Fu do just that, earning ranks from the first possible to one of the highest we have at the AKF of 2nd degree Black Belt. Mark Seigel and Mark Hollemon each were promoted to the rank of 2nd degree Black Belt - Black Belt Teacher - last night. Along with them, Liem was promoted to Jr. Purple/Blue sash, and Thor earned his Jr. Orange/Purple sash. Congratulation to each of you for your accomplishment!
