When can you stop administering your pet’s flea and tick - TopicsExpress

When can you stop administering your pet’s flea and tick prevention for the season? Answer… not yet! Fleas are out and very active right now! It’s getting colder outside, and a warm house is just as appealing to them as it is us. Additionally, if your pet currently has fleas and you are treating an active infection, don’t stop after one month! Flea eggs can hatch in carpet months after you treat your pet. To prevent re-infection, it is recommended each pet in the household be treated for a minimum of three months! petmd/dog/care/evr_dg_fleas_on_dogs_and_what_you_can_do_about_them#.Unu66flOOQB
