When commonwealth secretary general, Kamalesh Sharma offers his opinion just as the tickets go on sale for the event, was it spontaneous or solicited by the BBC. Why would our own state broadcaster want to diminish and undermine the standing of the Commonwealth organisation, the games, or the host country at such a critical time? What could be the motivation? Given his prominent position in the Commonwealth organisation, he would have been, and still is, deeply involved with the games preparations. Why would someone with such a close relationship with the games want to cast any shadow over their success. And Scotland is hosting them , our cash, not a penny from r’UK, despite UK cabinets fainted interest and proposed “oversite”. Could this be related to the fact that the latest report finds all plans well on schedule and within budget – with all the main infrastructure in place and already in use. Do they want to associate themselves with success? What next? David Cameron et al standing for a photo shoot on the piers of the new forth crossing (Union flag in hand). It gets pretty predictable on these scare stories from ProjectFear related individuals. Someone no one has ever heard off suddenly comes out of the closet on the BBC, to pass negative comment on something positive in Scotland. Do they think the Scottish voting public has the same attention span of Vince Cable, that they do not see the pattern.
