When did we grow up? Was it while we were yet stowaways on the train to Birmingham? Was it after the summer we heard the lips of an angel and the theories of dead men? Maybe we grew up while the coffee at waffle house turned stale...or perhaps it happened just before the morning the sun came up as we pulled into my driveway from a night of virtuoso. It must have happened while we were sleeping....between the day we saw each other...and the day we never saw each other again.
