When first-contact medical personnel like an MCH Nurse and a - TopicsExpress

When first-contact medical personnel like an MCH Nurse and a Traditional Birth Attendant who both work together delivering babies, suddenly both develop similar strange illness of Diarrhoea and Vomiting and Weakness akin to eventual multiple organ failures (U can call it Renal Failure if you like), BUT OTHER MEMBERS OF BOTH THEIR TWO HOUSEHOLDS DO NOT SUFFER FROM A SINGLE SYMPTOM, one of the first suspicion is that the source of their illness is not from oral intake of contaminated drinking water but from body fluids they came in contact with at their place of work (i.e: delivering babies) like amniotic fluid and placenta blood. If so, all illnesses that can be transmitted through body fluids should be thoroughly checked for. If there is possibility of EBOLA threat being in the area, such first contact medical staff should be immediately tested and possibly isolated. BUT WHEN THE RAPID DIAGNOSTIC TEST KITS AT DARU HAD EXPIRED SINCE MARCH 2014 WHAT DO YOU EXPECT!!! :-( So, anyway, promoting cover-up talk about poor water sources and low level water-wells, when the other household members of late Nurse Messie Konneh and Yawa Korseh (is she alive or dead - conflicting reports!) have not reported YET with a single symptom of diarrhoea and vomiting is an embarrassment.
